Environmental pollution has been a concern
for all countries in the past decades, but particularly in Australia due to the
excessive burning of non-renewable energy resources, increasing global warming and
excessive use of industrial activities. Pollution issues in Australia remain unsolved
due to the lack of equipment and lack of attention to the problem. Researchers
state that industrialization and non-renewable energy use increases the
emission of CO2 in Australia. Recommendations to reduce these issues
have been applied in the past years. Some of these being; green industrialization,
reducing the use of non-renewable energy, increasing renewable energy, and environment
inclusive financial development. This study states that green industrialization
would be helpful with the application of clean energy making inputs sustainable
and also green-production technologies. By reducing the use of non-renewable energy,
there is a big reduction of pollution and less burning of fossil fuels. This would
protect the environment and ensure sustainable resources. In the other hand, increasing
renewable energy is going to ensure the country’s total energy use with more
attention. Financial development is going to ensure the reduction of CO2
emissions. This study was done to determine different techniques to reduce the
impact of industrialization and non-renewable energy on environmental pollution
in Australia.
